I have issues with a lot of taste. This turned out not to be a good taste for me.
The product can highly recommended from my doctor and that is the main reason for the 5 stars. Just because I don't like the taste shouldn't ruin a company's reputation.
I have taken it everyday religiously for the past 10 months and can attest to its authenticity. I usually combine it with my whey protein shake to combat the taste. However, does taste matter when you get amazing results... absolutely not. I use this product more as a recovery tool/ injury prevention. My body responds well to HMB anyways but this product drastically cut down my aches/pains from exercise. I can push harder, train with more intensity, and have noticed markedly increased strength with reduction in body fat. Utilizing good nutrition and adding this stack to your daily routine is a must for all athletes and military personnel. I would advocate for this product any day.
P.S. they have excellent customer service. They replaced a damaged product with no questions asked. I will be a lifetime consumer due to this.
I bought this product after having a freak accident and sustaining 5 fractures in my ankle and leg. I knew I needed the nutritional support to heal after such trauma. I didn’t pay particular attention to the label as I normally do (hello pain meds) and I was disappointed that it was flavored (gross-I do not want a fake citrus flavor in all my smoothies) and was sweetened (why do we Americans think we need to add sweeteners to everything? Even supplements to heal! No!) and I’m vegetarian so not keen on the whey protein (a vegan pea/flax protein complex would be AMAZING!). So because of the price point and the other nutrients included, I’ll finish my container (even if it’s a struggle to choke it down) but would LOVE if Mend made a slightly different version of this. I also found the powder actually difficult to blend and very chalky (had to use my vitamix blender). I typically blended in almond milk + frozen banana and other fruit and could STILL taste the sweeteners added (😝). Real health conscious people do not need stevia or any other sweeteners!

Outstanding product for post-injury recovery.
I’ve read mixed reviews about the taste. I’m ok with it. I use 2oz of OJ and 8oz of water. I warm the juice up for 15 seconds, add scoop of powder then water. I use a shaker bottle and consume it over 12 hours reshaking to dissolve any clumps. As to how effective it works. Honestly can’t say. I’ve just had my second hip replacement within 9 months of the first hip. Used it for the first one also. Doctor was pleased with my first hip recovery.
